“…and all of us are given the task of trying to make the world a little more hospitable to these beautiful things- to love, to compassion, to caring, to sharing, to just being human."
Desmond Tutu
A portion of our profits benefit the survivors of Domestic Violence, expressing our dedication to the beauty and strength within each woman.
Why:
More than twenty five years ago, our founder, Cathy lost a dear friend to the tragedy of Domestic Violence. Because of that loss, she became active and served as president on the board of trustees in a Cleveland, Ohio organization which serves the families affected on the front line of Domestic Violence. Their mission was to empower the survivors, as well as to educate the community at large in the global effort to end Domestic Violence.
Each October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, which is an annual opportunity to focus attention on the thousands of families affected by this violence every year. Our intent is to maintain that voice throughout the year, breaking the silence around this issue and supporting peace at home.
We stand for the possibility of love, intimacy and support everywhere. Let it begin at home.
